Surgery clinics

We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.

Antenatal clinic

This clinic is held every Wednesday from 09:30 – 16:30.

Blood tests

Please leave 3 days before contacting the surgery by telephone for the results of your blood tests. Please telephone after 10:30. Unless requested by doctor, there is usually no need to book an appointment. Many thanks for your co-operation.

Russells Hall Hospital

  • Saturdays 08:00 to 13:00

Corbett Outpatients Centre

  • Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

Guest Outpatient Centre

  • Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

Online booking

To make an online booking, please visit the Dudley Group Foundation Trust website and select the site you wish to attend. You will be presented with available slots in green. If you click on the arrows to the right, you will be presented with further dates. Click a slot for your chosen time and a new window will open, where you will need to provide your personal details. A mobile number is required to receive a text message confirmation of your booking. No children after 17:00 on weekdays or all day Saturday.

Patients who are unable to book online can call on either of the following numbers: 01384 244330 or 01384 365155 between 08:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday and 09:00 and 15:00 on Saturday.

The above clinics may have to be changed or cancelled periodically due to holidays/sickness.

Some local GP surgeries also provide blood test services, please ask reception for further details. 

Child health surveillance services

Any appropriate doctor on request.

Child immunisations

Held on Wednesdays from 09:30 to 11:30.

Community gynaecology clinic

By appointment with Dr Sinha. Referral required.

Community vasectomy service

By appointment with Dr Kanhaiya. Referral required.

Dr Kanhaiya is a principal trainer in vasectomy.

Contraceptive care

Provided by all doctors during normal surgeries.

Contraceptive implants

By appointment with Dr Sinha.

Intra-uterine contraceptive device fittings

Reception can advise day and time, following GP referral only.

Health visitor baby clinic

This clinic is held on Wednesdays from 09:30 to 11:20 at Wordsley Green and Tuesdays from 09:30 to 11:50 at Kingswinford Medical Practice on Standhills Road.

Long term conditions clinics

These clinics are for:

  • Hypertension
  • COPD
  • CKD
  • Stroke and Transient Ischemic Attack
  • Atrial Fibrillation
  • Heart Disease
  • Learning disabilities

Minor surgery

Drs Sinha and Kanhaiya carry out minor surgical procedures at the surgery by appointment.

The doctors will be happy to advise you on this. Referral required.

Over 75 clinic

Within any available clinic space.

Patients aged 16-75

Patients aged between 16 and 75, who have not been seen at this practice within the last three years, have the right to a consultation with a doctor/health care professional at which time lifestyle inquiries and examinations may be undertaken, as appropriate.

Please ask at reception for such an appointment.

Patients aged 75 and over

Patients aged 75 years and over, who have not been seen at this practice within the past 12 months, have the right to a consultation with a doctor/health care professional at which time lifestyle inquiries and examinations may be undertaken, as appropriate.

Such a consultation can take place in your home, where in the opinion of the doctor/health care professional, you are unable to attend the surgery because of certain medical conditions.

Physiotherapy

Provided by Mr A Chamberlain following referral by the GP.

Appointments are also available with First Contact Physiotherapy. Please speak to reception.
