IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING YOUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
From 1st Dec 2017, Wordsley Green Surgery will require 7 working days notice to process your repeat prescription requests.
We kindly ask all of our patients to manage their medication to allow for this processing period as urgent requests cannot be guaranteed.
Please remember to allow more time for any public holidays.
You can order your medication in the following ways:
- Online Using Patient Access
- Via a Pharmacy
- Drop your request in to the surgery
- Prescription Ordering Direct - call 01384 323222
Repeat prescriptions are issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment.
All prescription requests should either be sent via EMIS access online (see below), by handing in a request at the surgery or via your local pharmacy (these requests will be processed within 7 working days).
Requests for prescriptions can be made in writing or by calling in at the surgery between 10.30am to 12 noon and 1.30 to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. They can also be ordered online via emis (see below) if you are registered for this service.
The NHS Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) service is the easy way for you to order your repeat prescription!
All it takes is a simple phone call that you can make from the comfort of your own home and there’s no need to go into your GP practice or pharmacy.
Simply call (01384) 323222 Mon - Fri 9am until 5pm and your prescription will be sent to your pharmacy of choice, typically within 48 working hours.
