Call 111 - When it is less urgent than 999

Appointments to see a doctor or nurse are made by telephoning 01384 277591, or by calling into the surgery. Routine appointments are available up to a month in advance. Patients who need to be seen urgently on the day itself will, if possible, be offered an emergency appointment with the duty doctor for that day.

Appointments can also be made by booking online. You will need to register for this facility. Ask at reception for your registration information then, once registered, click on the link below.

Information Regarding Extended Access

In the Kingswinford, Amblecote & Brierley Hill (KAB) area practices are working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments. If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours.

Your appointment may be with another practice in the area and may not be at your registered practice.

Pharmacists can offer advice on common problems such as coughs, colds, aches and pains, as well as healthy eating and stopping smoking. They can also help you decide whether you need to see a doctor.

You can talk to your pharmacist in confidence, even about the most personal symptoms and you don't need to make an appointment. It is possible to walk into any community pharmacy and ask to speak with the pharmacist. They may be able to spend some time with you. Most pharmacies now have a private consultation area where patients can discuss issues with pharmacy staff without being overhauled by other members of the public.

Canceling Your Appointment

If you cannot keep your appointment, please inform the reception staff. Failure to cancel an appointment means that other patients who could have had your timeslot if you had cancelled have to wait longer for an appointment. Persistent failure to do so may incur sanctions and your attention is drawn to our practice policy in this regard.
