Non-urgent advice: Patient Notice

You can request a routine appointment with a nurse or healthcare assistant up to 2 weeks in advance.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • By phone
  • Face to face at the surgery
  • On a video call
  • By text or email

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

Non-urgent advice: Please Note

Any patient who fails to attend three appointments in any one year will receive a warning letter.

Failure to heed the warning letter and subsequently miss another appointment may result in that patient’s removal from the practice list.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

If you are unable to attend the surgery and need a doctor to visit you at home, please telephone the surgery on 01384 277 591 before 10:00am whenever possible, where a receptionist will take details of the reason for the visit.

Please remember that home visits are only for patients who have serious illnesses or are housebound.

Enhanced Access Appointments

Practices in Kingswinford work collaboratively providing access to all patients Monday to Friday until 8:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am– 5:00pm.

Appointments are available at different practices during the week, please discuss with reception or send a request via our website to book in, our practice late opening is on a Monday.

During the week cover is provided at Wordsley Green on a Monday, Moss Grove Kingswinford on a Tuesday, Rangeways Road on a Thursday, Kingswinford Medical Practice on a Wednesday and Friday.

Cover for Saturdays is provided on a weekly rota with Rangeways open the 1st Saturday of the month, Summerhill 2nd, Wordsley Green 3rd, Moss Grove Kingswinford 4th and Kingswinford Medical practice covering the 5th Saturday.
